The English-Chinese Translation Table of Names of the Imported Motor Vehicle Manufacturers and Brands of Such Motor Vehicles (2004 Edition) (hereinafter referred to as the Translation Table (2004 Edition) was promulgated in the Joint Announcement No. 52, 2004 of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People’s Republic of China, the Ministry of Public Security of the People’s Republic of China, the General Administration of Customs of the People’s Republic of China and the Ministry of Environmental Protection of the People’s Republic of China（hereinafter referred to as the Announcement No. 52). In accordance with provisions in the announcement, measures for dynamic management of the Translation Table (2004 Edition) are hereby announced as follows:

1.  The first revised edition of the Translation Table (2004 Edition) is published as the annex of Announcement No. 52 on the official website of AQSIQ (http://www.aqsiq.gov.cn). Please feel free to download it from the website; no other printed version will be issued.

2.  Contents supplemented and corrected in accordance with provisions in the Article 2 of the Announcement No.52 shall be applied for archival filing at the AQSIQ by the automobile product certification authority designated by the SCARC. The AQSIQ will promulgate it with reference to the way of promulgating the first revision (indicating the revision number and revision date).
